Juvelook is a trade name for a hybrid biostimulator skin filler composed of two key ingredients: HA (Hyaluronic Acid) and PDLLA (Poly-D,L-lactic Acid). It is manufactured by Huons, a company based in South Korea. Juvelook has gained significant popularity in the beauty industry due to its unique formulation and its satisfying results in skin rejuvenation.
- Hyaluronic Acid (HA): A natural moisturizer that helps retain moisture in the skin, reduces wrinkles, and makes the skin appear hydrated.
- Poly-D,L-lactic Acid (PDLLA): A collagen-stimulating agent that strengthens the skin, enhances its elasticity, and effectively reduces wrinkles.
- Hybrid Technology: It is a combination of HA and PDLLA in the optimal ratio (HA 7.5 g and PDLLA 42.5 g), providing immediate hydration and long-term collagen stimulation.
- Spherical & Foamy Shape: The structure of Juvelook is small and spherical, resembling bubbles, which allows for better distribution in the skin, preventing clumping, reducing irritation to surrounding tissues, and providing natural results.
- Safety: Juvelook is approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and carries the CE mark from the European Union, ensuring its safety and effectiveness.
- Provides hydration to the skin, making it appear plump and radiant.
- Reduces the appearance of wrinkles and deep lines, including under-eye wrinkles, nasolabial folds, and neck lines.
- Stimulates collagen production, strengthening and improving skin elasticity, helping with scars and stretch marks.
- Reduces the size of pores.
Juvelook can be injected with a short needle, spreading across the face.
It can also be injected using a long blunt needle for areas such as under-eye hollows or neck lines, similar to filler injections.
Although Juvelook is highly safe, there may be minor side effects such as swelling, redness, or bruising at the injection site, which will subside within 1-2 days. If you have any concerns or questions, it is recommended to consult a specialist immediately.
If a long blunt needle was used, there may be a small puncture site, which will heal on its own within a week.
Avoid consuming alcohol or engaging in strenuous exercise for at least 1 week.
Juvelook is suitable for individuals with dry, dehydrated skin, wrinkles, or those looking to rejuvenate their skin for a more youthful appearance. However, it is recommended to consult a specialist before deciding to get Juvelook injections to assess your skin condition and the suitability of the treatment.
