Pre and Post-Care Guidelines for Hyaluronic Acid Filler Treatment
Before Treatment :
- Inform the Doctor About Medications and Supplements:
- Blood thinners/anticoagulants
- NSAIDs (Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs)
- Aminoglycosides, chloroquine, D-penicillamine
- Supplements such as fish oil, vitamin E, ginkgo biloba extract, or omega-3 fatty acids
- Disclose Medical History:

- Platelet dysfunction
- Herpes or shingles on the face

- You may gently massage the area to smooth out lumps using facial soap as a lubricant.

- Weakness
- Unusual skin color changes (pale, darker, or red)
- Severe pain, numbness, or tenderness at the injection site
- Pus or abscess formation at the injection point
Potential Side Effects:

- Blindness (extremely rare)
